Brain is scrambling what to draw next~
For a while now I've talked about aspects of game design as promises to the player. I feel like it's a better way to make me feel accountable to actual people. You introduce something into the gameplay/ story/ theming/ atmosphere, and you promise to do something noteworthy.

I am sure bluesky will eat the quality, but this is a mockup for the stream game. Some of it is repurposed and cleaned up massively from past prototypes since this is more or less supposed to be a really quick project :)

Felt like adding to my Mario Bros. 1 redraw. Fixed Mario, added Luigi and Wario for fun. Peach, Toad and Bowser only work on black backgrounds like the original game. Allowed Koopa Troopa a sprite overaly to get an extra color like in SM3. NES accurate, but probably not optimized.

Dagnabbit. Gamemaker has been near perfect on wine, but the recent monthly seems to have borked something when it pulls data from a yarn file. Might be chatterbox, might be something else, but the (windows) beta branch works just fine. #gamemaker #indiedev
