I feel the BBC heads resigning yesterday over a relatively small mistake only weakens trust in the BBC. I really can't see why they did it. Now Trump has his "proof" that they're fake news and he will tell everyone about it endlessly. Like he has never slightly edited anything disingenuously!

Benson Kipruto wins the New York City Marathon in one of the closet finishes ever (less than 0.2 of a second!). He becomes the first person ever to win Chicago, Boston and New York. He has also won Tokyo. Kenyan 1-2-3 in the men's and women's races. #nycmarathon

The book that many publishers said people wouldn't read because it was about women and ultra endurance has just been shortlisted for Sports Book of the Year. Yes, @emmajourno.bsky.social and I are feeling smug this morning. Just shows how good women are at persisting against patriarchal nonsense...
