Anyway imagine being strapped down in a small space while a voice like that tells you how to breathe for hours until it feels like its all you've ever known, then the voice starts telling you other things, and you're so used to following its instructions, you just... accept, no matter what they are~
Thinking about the time I got an abdominal... can't remember if it was a CT scan or MRI, but anyway, it kept saying in a female monotone robotic voice "Hold. Your breath." Then a few seconds later, "Breathe."
And I was really not normal about it.
