People have been speaking about these issues for years. We live in a world where I can't explain that I have autism without being shunned or infantalized. I would love to be open about my struggles in everyday life but I cannot afford to live in such a world

Well clearly yes but again it's more nuanced and we are nowhere close to living in that world. We live in a world where the biggest company "supporting" autistic people refuses to hire us, a world where most women aren't diagnosed until 20+ if ever a world where every word you say online is twisted

That's just not the world we live in. Do I think trump is a moron and the Tylenol thing is complete hocus as is the "miracle drug"? Absolutely. Do I think that it's cool being stuck in this world ill equipped to deal with my needs? Not at all
