Not to jump to any significant conclusions, but I have to imagine that a large part of the commitment to Vitello is having him come in and help reshape the player development structure. Which would probably be a good thing, the org has been middle of the road there for a while.

Love that. The issue I had with Spotify is that whenever I would start a station from a single song, it would go completely off the rails within 2 or 3 songs. Like, I would play "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac and the next song would be The Arctic Monkeys because both bands have English people in them?

The cynic in me thinks at least part of this move was made because Posey knows he's not going to be allowed to spend big for a while, so he wants someone who is known for squeezing everything he possibly can out of players. All managers/coaches should do that any way, but still. #SFGiants

Vitello will be introduced in a press conference Oct. 30. No terms were announced but we're hearing it's at least a three-year deal and possibly four.

I'm not an Apple person, and that's not going to change, but with the ability to just slide all of my Spotify playlists over, this was a no-brainer. Also, the Spotify algorithm is trash any way, so here's hoping this one actually gives me the things that I want.
