Pretty disappointed by this.
1. It reduces funding for the park
2. It subsidizes driving, counter to our climate goals
3. It will exacerbate car traffic around the park, thereby worsening the traffic safety crisis
4. It is not equitable for driving to be free while transit is not
5. Park air quality

I'll concede: billionaires can exist. But not right now. Only when everyone's free, housed, w/healthcare, free education, food security, paid time off, a complete bike/transit network, and a full social safety net where artists can live in a country that doesn't insist on being in/at war, only then.

2. years. old.

Violation of court orders to detain a 2-year old is beyond the abilities of "reform" here. There should be nothing left of this decrepit agency and everybody involved should stand trial.

“If you care about the bottom line, budgets & taxes, then you should care about urban biking, because it’s a money saver. It’s ironic when so-called fiscal conservatives attack biking, when their efforts just show a lack of understanding of math.” My interview with @modacitylife.com #CityMakingMath
Opinion: Why more urban cycling saves everyone money | Urbanized
The resulting benefits of a ‘car-less’ household are myriad, but few are as quantifiable as the money most people sink into a depreciating asset that sits unused for 95% of the time.

“One mile on a bike is a $.42 economic gain to society, one mile driving is a $.20 loss.”

“Which means that Copenhagen, a city of 1.2 million people, saves $357 million a year on health costs because something like 80% of its population commutes by bike.” #CityMakingMath

Some costs aren’t costs.
One mile on a bike is a $.42 economic gain to society, one mile driving is a $.20 loss
Copenhagen, the bicycle-friendliest place on the planet, publishes a biannual Bicycle Account, and buried in its pages is a rather astonishing fact.

Europe may begin selling U.S. assets in response to a new conflict with the US—a move that could trigger a dollar collapse, Bloomberg reports. Deutsche Bank analysts warn Washington’s key vulnerability is living off global financing—and Europe may decide it no longer wants to bankroll the U.S.

People in San Diego keep saying, of Balboa Park, "parks are for people" to argue against having to pay to park their cars there. Cars, of course, aren't people.
