I'm sure it was scary at the time, but it's probably been slightly overshadowed since then by the likes of Resident Evil! I bet this was fun to play back in the day though.
Isn't it ironic?
It's a spooOOooky night, and if you feel like spending your evening being chased around by ghosts, then why not give my Pac-Mania remake a try? Can you reach, and survive, the haunted library? 👻

Got the barrel, realised they didn't pick up the monkey to go inside it.
Oh so do I. It was great fun to use and it was great fun to develop apps for it. A part of me got left behind when I finally gave up on Windows Phone. 😢
We bought a copy of that for my son when he was little, it was very much enjoyed. I've not thought about it for years, but I just looked on his bookshelves and there it still is! ♥️
@carringtonvanston.bsky.social @savetz.bsky.social "We are back, baby!" -- Kay and Carrington, December 2024. 😂

Missing you guys, wondering how you are getting on with "Fish!"? Will your next report be ready any time soon? 🤞
@helenzaltzman.bsky.social I just finished listening to Allusionist 110, about gravestone epitaphs. Very interesting listen. I got to thinking about what I might like mine to be, and realised I would use my social media profile text. We all have our own little living epitaphs on our profiles. 🤔
Ooh, sounds like fun, I'll definitely take a listen!
Oh it's heartbreaking isn't it? When my second book was published and I received the physical copies, this is what I found as the very first heading in the whole book. That first word was not present in the documents I had submitted, the publishers added this themselves. I could have cried! 😭
TNZS is one of my all time favourite games. I managed, just once, to complete the arcade version without losing a single life, and that was before emulation when I was having to pay for each credit! 😂

Is there any information about which platforms this is releasing for, or any ETA?
The TheC64 products are made by Retro Games Ltd. and aren't anything to do with any of the Commodore companies, you'll notice that the name "Commodore" doesn't appear anywhere on them.
When I wrote three consecutive books for Apress, an American publisher, I was pretty much at the point where I had forgotten what British spellings looked like, and I did eventually make peace with it. Though I could never accept "aluminum" or "math". Fortunately, neither of those were needed.
Good grief. I kind of assumed it would involve the sprint key and maybe avoiding a few fights. I have learned a lot today. 😳
Can't read it right now, busy watching Hom8 +ovway.
I think those stargazers of the past could never have imagined what they were really looking at.

Much as I think the stargazers of today probably have nearly as much still to learn. It's mind blowing what we're discovering out there.
(This remake was actually inspired by an old issue of Retro Gamer that was on my shelf a few months ago.)
In the meantime, why not have a little play with Pac-Zania? Completely free for Windows and Linux.

Oh I think you're going to love that machine! I built my own virtual pinball some years back when we replaced our TV, and I have a huge amount of fun with it, you completely forget it's not real once you start playing - video and pictures attached. I look forward to seeing your pinball videos soon!

The European Space Agency invited me to their mission control centre in Germany to find out what it takes to be a Satellite Operations Engineer working on their new Earth observation satellite, BIOMASS.

It's a lovely city. I visited once, around 20 years ago, and still have many fond memories.
