I was sent this screenshot from a player I used to coach. She was stuck in A+, used to tilt super hard, and would always rush in solo. It took about 6 months of coaching, and now she is doing better than ever. It’s not about the player when they start, it’s about where they can be when it’s over.

There's definitely benefit to playing more but as far as sustainable and effective practice (especially as a grown dude with a job), i've found this to be pretty optimal.

I literally play 1 (one) x-series 3-5 times a week, and it is genuinely 90% as effective as grinding the game for 5 hours a day. /srs

Keeps me sane, keeps me growing, keeps the mental safe, and saves me time.

If i'm feeling especially driven i'll play more, but usually not more than 2-3 series.

I am going to focus on myself as a player. While I intend to still be involved with the group, I won't be playing or captaining the team.

You will still find me running tournaments and playing games with my friends, including remaining Whiprays.
