Oh Yeah, This was a Fun Watch. In Fact, I Kinda Loved This. An Underrated Horror Flick that I wish I saw Sooner, and I Do Recommend You see It, If You haven't Yet. It is Totally Wicked. And Especially Worth It for Andrew Divoff's Performance Alone.

Wishmaster (1997)

Djinn is a Fantastic Horror Villain. Brought to Life Perfectly by Andrew Divoff. He's Severely Underrated, Actually. He's a Conniving, Sadistic, Pure Evil Motherfucker Who twists Wishes into Curses in such Insanely Mean-Spirited ways. Like that Lady He turned into a Mannequin. That was so Fucked Up. Speaking of "Fucked Up", There are also some Amazing Practical Gore Effects. While there also some Visual Effects that have Aged Poorly, The Practical Effects Look Great even Today. The Best One being the Guy Who's Skeleton pops out of His Body. That was Wicked as Absolutely Insane and Wicked. As was the Cop Who gets His Jaw torn off in the Police Station. That was also Crazy. It was also Cool seeing Other Horror Legends show up, Here & There. Like Robert Englund, The Late Tony Todd, Kane Hodder, Ted Raimi, They even got The Late Angus Scrimm to Narrate the Opening, which is Sick. And While some of the Other Characters We follow aren't The Most Memorable, They aren't Bad, Either. I Actually do Like Alex as a Lead. And Tammy Lauren does a Great Job playing Her. I Actually thought It was a Total Boss-Ass-Bitch Moment when She Found a way to put Djinn back into the Gem with That Wish. The Only Real Big Issue I've got is, well, Like I Mentioned Earlier, a lot of the CGI Visuals are clearly Dated. Especially Hodder's Death. Even if The Image Itself was a bit Freaky. Or The Pazuzuz Statue grows Tentacles. Those looked Fake as Hell.

Legendary artist Drew Struzan has sadly passed away at the age of 78 after a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Struzan designed the posters for the original 6 Star Wars movies. He also created iconic posters for Back to the Future, Blade Runner, Indiana Jones, and more.
