It’s time to start Season 4! There are a lot of connections to life today and many moments of our crew being amazing. Plus, stick around after the ep discussion to hear about @shelfnerds.bsky.social time at the Trek to Orlando convention.

It’s good to be back with the Carrot Crew!

[Star Trek Voyager in a 9-grid ✨]

Couldn’t resist giving my favorite crew a little collage treatment. 👀

Experimented with a new marker brush (still learning 😅).

The line art was drawn traditionally on paper and later converted for digital coloring digitally, placed with new methods.

In #StarTrekTOS' "What Are Little Girls Made Of?", colourful food cube stew has its biggest appearance. Three plates of the food (only red, green and orange cubes plus brown smaller meat cubes) are seen and Kirk is seen eating one of the orange cubes. Android Kirk and Chapel don't touch the food.

A promotional CloneStar Podcast graphic featuring author David Mack holding his novel Star Trek: Strange New Worlds – Ring of Fire. David, a white man with short gray hair, glasses, and a neatly trimmed beard, smiles slightly while wearing a dark shirt. The vibrant background swirls with red, orange, and purple colors resembling a cosmic vortex. A yellow border frames the image, with a black and gold banner at the bottom reading “▶️ WATCH ON YOUTUBE.” Below it, bold text says “David Mack – New Book: Ring Of Fire.” The CloneStar Podcast logo, a silver and gold Starfleet-style badge with a star and the podcast name, appears in the lower right corner. The overall design has a futuristic and Trek-inspired aesthetic.

Captain/Admiral/President Jonathan Archer's story hasn't been fully told yet. There are starships and planets named after him, he is one of the most decorated Starfleet Captains. Mike Sussman and Scott Bakula's #StarTrekUNITED pitch is exactly what I would love to see: 🧵 1/2

He calls it a game… so I’m going with it. It’s never *seen* so who can say for sure..? 😜🖖🏽💚

Goldsmith’s Star Trek: Nemesis is a highlight in the franchise even if the film doesn’t reach the artistic heights of the score.

The score is mournful, vulnerable, bold, bombastic, and driven by an urgency that carries you along from track 1 to “A New Ending.”

It’s my 3rd favorite Trek score.
