I may not be a lesbian, someone else asked for this flag. I also have non-binary and trans flags. But this was the flag I had on hand.
I know, it's like they want you to steal from them...
Seriously it took 2 hours for them to tell me I don't owe them money but may in the future. Like, ok then.
I spent the last weekend watching The People vs Robodebt and honestly, it has me nervous but hey, I tried to fix it, they just wouldn't let me.
Well Centrelink apparently doesn't want my money. I swear they overpaid me but once they got my payslip from my new job, they don't care. Like ok then. Just don't call me a dole bludger later when I spent the time trying to fix it.
I'm planning on handing these out at work tomorrow for a few trans colleauges... :)
Over the weekend, I had one of the weirdest gender euphoria moments. I was packing boxes after PAX (I'm an enforcer) and was thinking, wow, these are heavy. And then one of the guys just came over and was like, "I'll take that" and like gender roles and all that but I appreciated it.
New job is going great! I'm not alone in this office. There's at least 4 trans folks that I know of and I feel so seen. There's an actual diversity focus and I've only been here for a week.
VR is serious business. Had a VR experience with my new job and gave myself a bloody nose.
Heck, if anything, I'd call him a troll. I have a longer post of information about this but it's on Facebook and I know you don't use that platform.
I understand that Kirk has caused a lot of harm to a lot of folks peddling conspiracy theories and misinformation. I know who he is. But he's not that important to warrant this media circus.
Why is this rolling media coverage for a random youtuber? Nobody else would get this kind of coverage...
She's ok, but yeah, it just put things into perspective a bit.
You know you don't see your family much and nobody talks when you find out a month later that your mother was admitted to hospital... It's often months between calls to either parent, and it's often easy to forget I even have a family a lot of the time.
The perfect start to stream. It had been live for like 20 seconds...
Turns out, it's not Centrelink I need to deal with, it's Workforce Australia, and they are even harder to deal with, because you can't actually report that you've found work... Like what is the point of their system if you can't report that...
I had forgotten just how painful Centrelink is to contact... I haven't needed them in 10 years, but the trauma of dealing with them is still so ingrained that I still remember my reference number off the top of my head without thinking about it.
Yeah, basically same as my old job, at the new place down the road from the old job.
Wooo! I got an offer for a new job today! I'm so happy that it finally happened! Only took 11 weeks...
All I heard was client engagements, but I only found out since I had to send an email 20 minutes into the interview asking why they didn't show up.
Love showing up for an interview only for the interviewer not to show up and you have to reach out to the recruiter and figure out what happened...

In just eleven weeks the @nionwomen.bsky.social petition organised by cis women who are fed up with transphobia being imposed in their name has obtained 1,000 more signatures than the transphobic one did in six years.

Transphobia is not popular.

This does mean that the news aggregation stuff on @trans.au , yeah, that's broken right now.
