Cleveland’s MLB Field Coordinator and director of defense, base running, and game strategy.

CLE was a top-4 defensive unit by FRV, top-10 by DRS. The Guards also had MLB’s second-best win percentage in close games (.595) - compare that to Mets’ 2025 mark of .487 (19th)

Sounds like a good hire 👌

A double play ends the season for the Mets. A 4-0 loss to the Marlins completes the collapse.

A little league team that appears to be called the Mets is on the field at Marlins Park. The kids were absolutely geeked to be on the field, one of them turned to me and asked, “is this real? Am I really on a Major League Baseball field?”

These kids are fans for life.

Brooks Raley was told by other teams that he was too much of a risk to sign as a 37-year-old coming off Tommy John last winter. He knew he would prove them wrong when he re-signed with the Mets.

He just struck out the side to hold the lead in a crucial game.

Look, I'm sorry the Mets lost and all, but this was legit the funniest thing I've seen all week!

An elderly man in a wheelchair on the concourse here at Wrigley Field tried to hit people with his cane to make a lane for his son to push him, but his son grabbed the cane out of his hand and yelled loudly, “Dad stop it, we’ve talked about this!”

Jonah Tong gives up four runs in the third without even getting an out. Richard Lovelady takes over, and once again, the Mets will turn to their bullpen tonight.

As a reminder, since he was optioned to Triple-A, he can't participate in any baseball activities with the Major League team, or use the Major League facilities. With the minor league season done, the Port St. Lucie complex is the only place where he can work out under team supervision at the moment

The reports from Kodai Senga's live BP session in Port St. Lucie were just "OK," according to Carlos Mendoza. His velocity was down around about 93 MPH, and he was bothered by the hot weather in Florida.

He's staying in Florida for now, but the team will be there Thursday night anyway.
