Been on a fantasy spree for YEARS now. Apart from Maria Just Maria and a few other books, I have not read anything non-fantasy in a while. The last one I read was Broken Empire trilogy. Anyone has recommendations that are similar ?

(First Law, Malazan etc have been devoured already)

Finally. Someone who has taste buds similar to mine. Not very surprising since I am from the southern tip of Keralam and you are from the emerald island of wonderful food.

- Pizza isn't all that (for me).
- Indian curries that murder veggies aren't appealing.

Side note : If you haven't encountered Malaysian cuisine, you absolutely should. It is wild and will make you question the notion of authenticity and perhaps throw it out the window.

Food hot takes that will get me banned:

- Currywurst doesn't taste that good to me.
- Food from Germany in general doesn't appeal much to me. Exceptions are maultaschens and the nice kartoffelsalat.
- "Italian" is too bland for me in most instances.
