I'm a speculative fiction writer, and I just found out some authors are celebrated for their AI-written books. My jaw is still on the floor. I seriously thought publishers would blacklist that stuff, no questions asked. Turns out: nope. Feeling totally sick to my stomach. What even is happening?!

Writers! POV help? My novel’s an ensemble, fast-paced, emotional chaos (betrayals, reveals, biopunk, found fam). Leaning 3rd limited w/ rotating POVs but sometimes that feels jarring (esp as a Deaf reader). Do readers vibe w/ that? Want it layered + clear.

Hot take: Maybe the Taylor Swift hate comes from her being everything women are told not to be? Like, owning her story, being unapologetically herself, and turning tough stuff into strength for everyone to see. Just a thought.

Painting for a decade, never used palette knives. I had a bazillion of them, but brushes were more my thing. Tried palette knives with oil paint yesterday for the 1st time & now I might never touch a brush again. The textures, the freedom, the chaos: I’m OBSESSED.
