Glad to have my major commitments done this year.

Going through my notes.

Found a lot of ttRPG sub systems I wanted to make, but only had ideas for.

Some of the details are coming back to me, past that phase of "what the fuck did I mean when I wrote this?"

Conversation I had in Deep Rock Galactic:

Dwarf 1: Are we gonna fight this [Dreadnought?]
Dwarf 2: Well, we can try reasoning with it.
Dwarf 3: I don't speak Glyphid, unfortunately.
Dwarf 4: You need to drink more Slammers, then.
Every time I see this image, I can't help but think of those German memes where a dog is in some wild circumstance.

This one would be "My fucking dog is stuck in the microwave!" / "Mein Scheisshund ist in die Mikrowelle!"

I've said it once and I'll say it again: People who think that character death is the only interesting consequence in TTRPGs are boring people.

"Oh I can't create tension if the game doesn't allow for me to kill a PC."

Really? You can't? Or are you just bad at GMing?
These sentiments are why my approach as GM is to be an arbiter of events.

I set the stage, but then the players may use it as they see fit.

(Importantly, I'm not coy. I inform players when they're about to do something that their character would know is a bad idea. "Gotcha!" moments are dumb.)
Finally finished this fantastic labor of love I began earlier in the year.

The content is pretty sparse and surface level. Though I do think I outdid myself with the VFX and acceptably with the audio mixing.

That said...you ever wanted Final Fantasy in your ttRPG? Look at some of these!

> exactly one ness

I dread any sort of video editing, truth be told. But I'm almost sad now that I'm nearly done with Fanmade Final Fantasy ttRPGs Disc 2.

On the other hand? I didn't expect to find so much when making disc 2. There'll be enough new material for third, I'm sure.

(I brought my A-Game to this one.)

That was something I did once, because I had a lot of stuff I felt was clever writing, but I cut it from its main script.

So I used some really bizarre thumbnails for those.

It was sort of a signal that the viewer isn't getting their regular fare from me.
What if the thumbnail looked like an insane conspiracy theory with a title admitting it was brain rot?
The things around his legs, and that thing in his hand reminded me of tools.

So I figured there was some kind of craftsmanship going on.
The boy delights in taking things apart.

Not destroying. No no no.

Deliberately and carefully removing pieces from things until they are a pile of all it's original parts.

And sometimes, he'll even remember how to put it back together!
