A little tip for #indiedev:

👉Add a version number to your save files

👉 Add a way to read that version the first

👉 Add a way to read the old version and fill the new version data structure

👍 You don't break old save games
😀 Your players don't notice the change
🎉 All will be happy

I paused the development of my game "Rule and Expand". I almost finished, but the game feels empty. It doesn't give me any of the feelings I wanted for the game and I don't even think it's fun or original. So I'm going to clear my head by making some prototypes.

Personal #godotengine tip:

Split your translations files by screens, panels, etc.

So you can review easy due to fewer lines and if you change somethink is easy to add and mod the lines
