No American administration has threatened our Democracy, our Constitution and the rule of law like we are seeing today. If we are not careful, we will revisit and experience the mistakes of the past. Students of history are signing their declaration against fascism's rise in the modern era. #Resist

Turns out the sweetheart deal that Trump's former Labor Secretary Alex Acosta gave Epstein back in 2008 was even worse than we thought. Epstein's emails show Acosta tanked an investigation that had Epstein dead to rights on money laundering, and other financial crimes.
🚨 EXPLOSIVE NEW investigation: We uncovered previously undisclosed details about an 18-month money laundering investigation into Jeffrey Epstein that took place alongside the 2007 sex crimes probe, according to emails obtained from Epstein's personal Yahoo account

Let’s keep this simple so everyone will understand…

This is what happens when folks vote for reproductive rights and also for Republicans on the same ballot.

I’m just going to say it…

It’s pretty damn validating to hear Barack Obama say the same things we’ve been shouting for months, and longer.

This video from Portland is a metaphor for what is going on in America. ICE trying so hard to get Americans to cross a line and if they don't, dragging them across the line and violently attacking.

Gallego: "It's murder. It's very simple. If this president feels they are doing something illegally, then he should be using the Coast Guard. If this is an act of war, then you use our military and then you come and talk to us first. But this is murder ... it's disgusting."

We aren't on the verge of an authoritarian takeover. We are in the middle of it.

This isn't the bumbling, directionless Trump first term. This time, they are implementing a plan to let Trump and his people rule forever.

But it's not too late to stop them.

Take note of all these people turning out for protests in small towns in red states.

Remember them the next time you’re inclined to write an area off because “they voted for this.”
Great turnout @ Williamsburg, VA No Kings protest! Everyone was just lovely. Great supportive vibes all around, including most motorists! #No_Kings #50501_Strong

This is due to a law signed by Ronald Reagan and has nothing to do with this shutdown fight.

But consider this...

Emergency Medicaid spending in 2023 cost $3.8 billion — just 0.4% of total Medicaid spending.

Now what about the $20 billion taxpayers are giving to Argentina?
Leavitt: "When an illegal alien goes to the emergency room, who's paying for it? The American taxpayer."

Jesus spent most of his time healing the sick.

Today, we have politicians in Congress with “Christ-follower” in their Twitter bios — but they’re trying to kick the sick off their healthcare.

And they’re willing to shut down the government to do it.

The government is in full shutdown and the Republicans are refusing to call the House back into session.

Want to know why?

Because we have secured the final vote on releasing the Epstein Files and they don’t want it out.

Call GOP and tell them to swear in @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social.

Trump and Republicans are desperately trying to make your healthcare twice as expensive.
This is merely a delay tactic meant to postpone the vote on the Epstein files release.
