There is a seriously ridiculous debate going on where I live. Several schools put off the 2 minutes silence for mock exams for the year 11's for 45 minutes. The response is seriously ridiculous and stupid. What the hell is wrong with people. There is nothing to complain about

It is amazing just how many people in the UK seem to think it's ok to kill people who are crossing the channel in dinghies.

Far too many people are being extremely dishonest about the debate surrounding nationalisation of the water companies. It needs to happen but we really need to be honest about the costs. There will be costs involved it won't be free or cheap or as expensive as others suggest

Transparency from MPs is extremely important especially from the better ones. Too often policies or ideas are not explained properly or have serious holes. An example is the nationalisation of water companies. Too many times MPs etc.. ignore serious issues deliberately and don't answer questions

Extraordinary level of blatant lying on the Mail’s front page this morning.

Appalled to see this image of Donald Trump and the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein projected onto Windsor Castle.

Please... for the love of all that is good, do not share it on all your social media channels... because it simply wouldn't be done to remind the world of the association

What is quite painful hearing at the moment is all the people saying we must stop the boats etc but naturally they don't actually know how. When they suggest leaving the ECHR and such that won't work. They're ignoring the problem and making really poor excuses and claim that they are not racist

The biggest tragedy of the situation with Charlie Kirk's death is that instead of having a president who will try to tone things down he will deliberately try to stir things up and that may see more people killed

How are we going to deal with the issues surrounding asylum seekers when the debate is so poor? They're blamed for so much, told that it's not our problem or that they are from an inferior society etc..it's seriously ridiculous

One of the things that I find so ridiculous at the moment in the UK is that no one seems to be able to learn from our recent history. The idea that we can leave the ECHR Scotland can get its independence and join the EU almost immediately it's all so easy apparently or the UK can join the EU

This if anything says so much about reform and its followers. The UK should be proud of what we did in WW2 despite knowing the price. We fought from the first day till the very last on a matter of principle. This guy wants the pre WW1 Britain which is thankfully gone

I really do wish people would stop pushing for a wealth tax. It sounds like an easy idea but it doesn't make it so. There are so many issues and likely contradictions and unintended consequences. Once exceptions are made for obvious things it won't be effective

Left wing people as well as activists really need to get a hold on themselves. Comparing Starmer to Hitler, suggesting we should ignore the US (which would be great) when we can't. We can't fight the extreme right by going even further left

It beggars belief that people are willing to vote for a man and party that's stated intention to cause them significant harm. And it's not even hard to notice

How on earth are people still buying the line that services are breaking because of immigration. So many people are so utterly weak minded
July 22, 2025 at 8:18 PM
It really is time that the UK gets its arse in gear. If there are things we want to have, decent pension, clean water, jobs, health, education etc... all of this requires money. We really need to start realising that we need to see scaled tax increases while other costs are forced down

I am seriously losing respect for so many on the left who are as bad as many on the right and brexiteers. The failure and inability of people to not be able to think things through is staggering

This has to be the worst "excuse" anyone has given for Netanyahu's actions. It's childish and just extremely ridiculous
July 19, 2025 at 9:45 PM
It really is quite depressing that when people try to argue against net zero or striving for more and better energy they actually don't know what on earth they are talking about

I find it extremely disturbing that the Media, like Matt Goodwin, are allowed to lie so easily without consequence.

I am getting really tired with how so many MPs and other activists behave at the moment. They do not say how they are going to do things just what they want to do. The how is as important as the what. Plus activists seem to be so seriously impatient it's unreal, so many need to get real
July 16, 2025 at 5:07 PM
If there is one thing that this country needs to get better at it's the ridiculous level of self indulgence and impatience. From Doctors who want a ridiculous pay rise to people who expect over a decade of decline to be reversed immediately. There are so many people that I just can't take seriously
July 16, 2025 at 7:13 AM
There are so many problems in this country and one of the biggest ones is the people themselves. If it's impatient rejoiners, like Femi, or doctors who want a huge pay increase, Reform supporters who fail to understand basics and so many other issues. We cause so many problems ourselves
July 11, 2025 at 5:46 PM
The number of people who are falling over themselves to forgive Jeremy Corbyn is truly disturbing and I cannot engage with them further. He is, like so many others, a truly awful politician. The country desperately needs better people in charge and Corbyn most certainly is not one of them.
July 7, 2025 at 8:39 AM
With so much wrong with the country and many of the solutions being extremely evident what is the problem? Is it politicians? No not really. Media? Yes, but still not really. Is it the people? Yes in many respects. We could fix many of the problems but it's the people who won't allow it
