The sub yesterday kept complaining about how they didn’t have a soda because our soda machine doesn’t work anymore, and then later they asked me if I wanted a soda and I said no. They said well I was going to go get one for both of us but if you don’t want one I’ll just stay here.

My assistant has been out for a few weeks and it’s just reinforced something I already knew: I’d rather do everything myself than have a sub for her. It actually adds stress to my day having to explain things to someone else that I could just do myself.
