#226. They Might Be Giants

Not the least bit surprising that these guys pumped out a shitload of music AND that a decent percentage of that music would be for children
#225. 100 Meters - 8/10

Kenji Iwaisawa was WAAAAAY too overqualified for the job.
#224. Saturday Night (Rewatch) - 8/10

I wonder if this was actually happening 50 years ago today...
#223. Happyend - 10/10

Aftersun tier of narrative feature length debuts.
#222. Aqua Teen Hunger Force Season 1

I would list this as a rewatch, and for 90% I'm pretty it was, but I don't think I had actually seen Bad Replicant before.
#221. The Smashing Machine - 8/10

The Door Smashing Machine
I have yet to watch a game this season all I do is see the stats on the work elevator every Monday and go "aw yeah"
#220. Can't Buy a Thrill

#219. Save the Green Planet! - 7/10

PROTECTIVE SHIELD

#218. Dandadan Season 2 - 9/10

Every episode of Dandadan reminds me of what it felt like watching the first season of Bleach when I was 15. This is the best currently running anime that I know for sure that people are watching.
#217. Eddington (Rewatch) - 9/10

Time is already being kind to Eddington.
#216. Static Age

Me: "Yo The Fly? It's back? I can't believe it The Fly from 1958 is back!"
Glenn Danzig: "I know right?"
Me: "So cool, wait what?"

See You Tomorrow At The Food Court

I honestly wouldn’t mind if was 12 episodes instead of 6. Well, if it released in a less packed season anyway. But hey at 6 episodes it’s a fun short watch.

#215. See You Tomorrow at the Food Court - 7/10

Exactly what a 6 episode anime should be: enjoyable entertainment while also being a series that would probably be a bit much if it was a full 12 episodes. Recommended!
#214. Marriage Story (Rewatch) - 10/10

This is one of the greatest movies ever fucking made.
#213. One Battle After Another - 10/10

This movie will be watched and discussed after you're dead. It is one of the defining movies of the current moment. If you trust me, then believe me when I say this has everything you could possibly ask for from a movie.
RABOOT, NO, YOU'LL MISS THE HUNGER GAMES
#212. Me Against the World

oh he knew he wasn't going to see the 21st century
#211. The Long Walk - 8/10

Would've been a 9 but I will never rewatch this.
#210. Tenet (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Stupid as hell movie, but hey the music sounds cool.
#209. White Noise (Rewatch) - 9/10

I think there is something extraordinarily funny about nobody else in the groupwatch liking this movie as much as me.
#208. Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid - 8/10

It's funny because the Knapsack Kid has almost nothing to do with the plot of the movie, but I guess "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Complicated Relationship with Mom" didn't roll off the tongue. Anyway best movie of the trilogy by a country mile.
Oh before I forget: pay EXTRA close attention to the other late night hosts tonight.

Jon Stewart is guaranteed to be the most angry about this. Otherwise, he'd stay home.

Stephen Colbert is the second most likely to speak up.

Let's just hope Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon also address this.
To reiterate: you think I'm saying this because I'm a fan of Jimmy Kimmel? I don't fucking care! But I do care about freedom of expression!

This is the textbook definition of censoring free speech. The time to act is now. What more could you possibly be waiting for?
I would be shocked if this wasn't the most fascist thing the current administration has done so far, but I guess feel free to reply to me with what you think is even more fascist from the past 8 months. Everyone in Hollywood is shutting down talking about anything else because this is abhorrent.
