i need to restate this periodically: i dont capitalize & often mess up my grammar bc it is part of my personal activism:w/ my words i challenge the subconscious idea we all have that associates perfect grammar & lang presentation w valuable ideas and content, bc that association is classist & racist

my kid inherited my northeastern chinese genes and was partially raised by my italian canadian friend and known when they cook they put garlic in everything, unhinged amounts of garlic in everything, just garlic, everything

yes, so much. i met the best people including my spouse @botmatrix.myatproto.social right here on bsky at the beginning of it all now we been married one year and a half. some of my best lifelong now irl friends i met off of fb and twitter. social media is important.

new wave horror films solved the problem of Black dude dies first but now we really need to figure out why everyone loves seeing east asians mutilated and destroyed in different ways after having the character commit a betrayal or a sneaky of some sort it just isn't good

we have a problem with progressive leftist movies treating east asian characters as disposable plot devices while perpetuating the "all east asians are scammers/betrayers/disloyal" stereotype. Sinners(2025) did it now Weapons(2025) and there are many other examples

non invasive procedure: hammer and something that can be used to press against the marble. this has worked for me before

so dip a cotton strinh in alcohol and light it and once it’s done burning quickly dip it in ice water then the glass can pop right off (but also u will lose all ur soda)

can always cut it if u have a glass cutter lying around too again the ice/hot thing helps with breaking glass once u cut the line

i suppose it wasn’t really a surprise after his behaviour all these years, i just feel so bad for the good people who still work there and are doing good work. it’s hard to feel like work is meaningful when you are working for someone who you cannot agree with on a fundamental level. i’m glad i quit

but ultimately i had the privilege of a fallback and a grandmother that passed away while i was burning out(…).her assets caught me after my burn out. many don’t have that privilege and it just sucks because there is good engineering work done at salesforce. i met great mentors and friends there.

it just really sucks cuz there are 80k ppl at salesforce & a lot a lot of them are fantastic people. i had the privilege of “i quit” as a late discovery trust fund baby but many don’t make that choice for good reasons. i send all my 💜to good salesforce people who have to stick out cuz a job is a job
