Easy win for Australia (unsurprisingly); Midge doing Midge type things as usual really helped! Second time she’s achieved back to back tons in an ODI World Cup, in consecutive competitions. I’m bloody obsessed with her and Mitch Starc 😂

A nice day, tho’ feel a bit melancholic about stuff; PAOTY was an excuse for a cathartic weep. Tried not to stress about silly stuff. Saw some sunshine & had a bit of a walk too. Diabetic eye check all clear, so not back for 2 years; makes me wonder why the optician wants more tests.

Having hoped for rain to save England, feel slightly miffed for Pakistan that they could end up with a draw when they absolutely deserve to win after England’s honking batting. One point for a draw doesn’t really change much for England, a win for Pakistan would be immense.
