don't be so convinced that you're immune. you're not. you WILL do things that are racist. there is no good child-ing your way out of bigotry. in fact it makes you the most susceptible because you think you don't have to listen to advice and critique from people of colour when you really need to

something i'd like to add on wrt white folks is that a lot of y'all think racism is an inherent trait of bad people, and if you perceive yourself as good & put some effort into not being overtly racist, you couldn't possibly be

thinking you have inherent benevolence is one of the most common traps
