I agree with this. There are a lot of people out there who think both parties are the same and if Democrats put a show of pushing out people with Nazi tattoos and shitty text messages and abused employees then all of a sudden you're making inroads.

If you’re running for president you’re going to miss a lot of votes during the primary, so you’re going to end up on the most liberal list even if you aren’t particularly liberal (because you’re only showing up for big votes).

The ACA was gutted by Democrats. you can argue those key democrats could've been siding with what many see as the more liberal/patient centered options. or you could say it was unfortunate that Dems didnt have 60+ more liberal senators.
