one major takeaway I've gotten from covering ICE here in Evanston, IL is that the paranoia runs very, very young. elementary schoolers as young as 9 have been keeping tabs on immigration activity. one of the first reports of Halloween-day activity at Asbury & Oakton came from a 6th grader.

no but you see, they do not maximize profit because they aren't able to constantly wring their players for money via loot boxes and cosmetics and battle passes. therefore they are bad games that aren't worth attention even if lots of people play them

i love living in an apartment with a shared washer cause they're laundromat washers with zero options (please i just want an occasional extra rinse) and the maintenance crew (one dude who doesnt care) definitely is not running the cleaning cycle at all
