Bizarre statement. I'm white. I'm quite average (probably a little below average). I'm also from one of England's 'majority minority' cities. It does reflect the society that I'm familiar and comfortable with. It would be weird to me if it was otherwise. She needs to get out more.
Reform UK MP Sarah Pochin, “It drives me mad seeing adverts full of black people, full of Asian people, full of anything other than white"

Followed by that time Sarah Pochin said, "My kids say: mum, you're such a moron" 👀

One of the people killed by Soldier F was a man who stepped out to help another of his victims as he lay dying in the street. He waved a white handkerchief as he did so. Soldier F shot him in the head. His name was Barney McGuigan and today his family had to listen to a judge acquit his killer.

Case in point: the Iraq Inquiry, which was highly inconvenient to the project of retaining the core of the New Labour briefcase brigade and continuing to invite Tony and Alastair on TV to promote helpful schemes, so it was simply binned the following day and never mentioned again.
Actually, I think dictator-chic will suit the White House.
Has anyone ever considered that being ruled over by a superintelligent AI Overlord might be better than being ruled over by our current human ruling class? Anyway, back to reality.
Speaking out against science fiction threats is a great way for these people to cosplay activism with zero risk to their reputations, careers, or wealth.

So brave - what if robots from the future try to kill them?!!
Steve Bannon, Meghan Markle and Stephen Fry are among the signatories of a statement calling for a ‘prohibition’ on advanced artificial intelligence systems on.ft.com/47iHrPj
This is Prince Andrew's pad. If I did what he did, could I be punished by being forced to live in a luxury country house?
I've never heard of this Lam person before a few days ago. Is she a relic of the National Front or something?
Here Lam explicitly sets out her proposal - which is official Conservative Party policy - to deport long-standing legal permanent residents who have *ever* claimed any benefit, including the state pension or child benefit (even if the child is British), or who earn less than £39K.
That's an interesting point. I hadn't thought of that. Of course, not every Israeli voted for Likud and its far-right partners (many detest them). That said, the government is legitimised by the democratic process.
I'm not saying I disagree with you. Israel is currently a self-proclaimed ethno-state: "Jewish and democratic." It might change in the future. I hope it does.
Depends on how you define democracy. There were a lot of people who thought Apartheid South Africa was a democracy! Democracy just means the rule of the demos, and it depends on who you include in that group.
