Also in the article is some shit about Republicans using against Democrats. What it fails to note is that they also trashed Cuomo at every opportunity when he was governor. They'd still be doing so if they thought he was going to win.
It also included Jeffries being muted, but not negative or worried and a strategist who praised his tactics but noted that his policies might not be popular outside of liberal cities (which is sad, but true).
The msm loves to lie with headlines. Let's not fall for it.
It's a deeply dishonest framing from MSNBC too. The only ones who spoke negatively about Mamdani in the article were a Third Way executive, Tom Suozzi, Dan Goldman, and a state rep from Long Island that I'm not familiar with. This should say "conservative Democrats are worried"
I'm probably going to have to keep the MN Secretary of State page up to watch Minneapolis results because the internet is so focused on races elsewhere.
The funniest thing about this is that if Republicans nuke the filibuster and pass their whole economic agenda, it'll hurt the party. Immensely. The Senate rules restraining them is the one thing keeping alive the myth that they're reasonable, patriotic, and fiscally responsible.
Donald Trump or whoever controls his account screaming WE MUST TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER OR WE LOSE ELEVENTY BILLION ELECTIONS doesn't radiate "They don't think any of this matters and they'll just rig the elections" to me IDK.
When Trump finally goes, I hope it's 9PM on a Friday night. For maximum fun and imbibing opportunities.
I'm cheering for Mamdani too, so I'm not sure why you think this is an own. I'm not arguing in support of old centrists, I'm arguing that if you actually look at voting records "Democrats that vote like Republicans" are dwindling. Sorry I committed the sin of speaking with some nuance online.
Where did I say that? You should read my actual posts and respond to those instead of inventing positions to get mad at and attributing them to me.
I wish I was more excited about Dick Cheney dying. Like I was with Kissinger. Is it just because it's too early in the morning to have lots of fun online? I mean, fuck that guy. I just don't feel anything yet.
Also, Death has a more pressing target right now.
Yet the current Democratic oversight leader is Robert Garcia. A young member of the progressive caucus. If Pelosi wanted to fight that too (idk if she did or not) she failed. If you don't want the Democrats to be stuck in the past, you should unstick yourself from the past too.
May I introduce you to the phrase "not many" which is not the same as "none"
Fetterman ran as the outsider candidate. Connor Lamb was who most party insiders wanted. I don't see any reason to think many Democrats would want to save him. Also, the current head of the DNC (as of this year) got his start working for Paul Wellstone.
It drives me up the wall that every race is treated like a presidential election, which necessitates trying to have a broad appeal to the whole country. Almost every political race is about trying to appeal to a pretty specific set of voters.
I don't know about the state level, but on the national level, there isn't that many Democrats that vote like Republicans. "Democrats have moved to the right" is just a thing people have made up. I suppose it's a consequence of how bad political media is. No one knows politicians actual positions.
Unless my theory that he's going to switch to the Republican party for a 2028 Senate run is true. I hope it isn't.
There's was always a batch of Alfred Hitchcock Presents episodes each season that had no standouts. It's the same for The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Season one episodes 25 and 26 were just kinda there.
Do we think Andrew Cuomo is going to lose and knows it so he's gearing up for a "the left left me" party change? Trump and Musk giving eleventh hour endorsements feels coordinated.
I keep forgetting the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot is on Netflix. Giving it a try now.
What will Zohran Mamdani do without the coveted NYC Cybertruck owner demographic?
Now Trump and Elon Musk are BOTH endorsing Andrew Cuomo in NYC race for Mayor. Cuomo is just as bad as Trump!
Are teens these days prudish? Or did they just grow up online so they know better than to talk about their sexuality online where adults will see it and be all weird and creepy about it?
If you like me need a guide for tomorrow's Minneapolis elections, there's lots of helpful links here! I already know what I'm doing for mayor, but there are city council and park board candidates I still need to do last minute research on.
Okay, #Minneapolis & #SaintPaul MN, who wants to cram for municipal elections with me?

i will share links below. ⤵️

If anyone is interested in the sequel to COHERENCE, we finally landed on a story worthy of the mission. Unless the actors revolt, we will probably do it just like the first one, where they know their own character details, but don't know what the other actors are going to say or do. Like real life.
When the hell were those pillars of masculinity? Masculinity centered around cruelty and domination is nothing new.
And before anyone claims otherwise, I'm not saying all men are abusive and toxic. I'm just saying, we should not wax nostalgic about pre social media patriarchy.
The first one was boring, but I have a soft spot for Bogeyman 2 and 3. They're so much stupid fun. Perfect for if you're tired or have consumed substances but not ready for bed yet.
