Eyeball Witness is a Nick book. The narrator and everything. Which seems like what most people want. Who knows
My original plan was Creature Features as book 7 (about 20 short stories featuring characters, some previously published others entirely new), Dolly Come Lately as book 8 (Jane's continuing adventures in the desert) and then Eyeball Witness
I think this is absolutely dead on, and I think it illuminates how far right the Democrats have gone that there's room on the left to do this
Finished up a couple drafts of Eyeball Witness (that's a City of Devils book, though what number I'm no longer sure) and it's not working and that's when I realized I need a better ending.
The worst part of walking McConnell is waiting while he wanders in circles looking for a place to shit
83 year old Senator Mitch McConnell just tripped and fell while being asked about ICE
You gotta hand it to Mitch McConnell. Guy's destroyed democracy, facilitated the deaths of millions, helped bring about the climate apocalypse. He could retire! But no, he's still out there trying to kill more people out of love of the game

Sir it seems that our strategy of replacing all of the professional government employees and experts with internet trolls and sex offenders is not going as well as expected
It's honestly becoming one of my best gauges for how much I like a politician

You're writing this down right? Good. As I was saying my car sucked so bad my wife left me. Yes I can spell my name for you.
This is assuming of course that rolling over for the GOP is a mistake and not Schumer's entire purpose but go with me for a sec
Sounds like Thune is betting that Schumer won't learn from his mistakes. Which is actually a pretty safe bet. I'd make that bet
In the last government funding deal, Schumer got a handshake promise from Republicans to hold a House vote to undo a block on D.C. spending $1B of its own revenue.

Then House Republicans simply never called the vote.

Guarantee, schmarantee.
Thune reveals to MSNBC he’s offered Democrats a vote on Obamacare subsidies
“We can guarantee you get a vote by a date certain,” Senate Republican leader John Thune said.

Glenn Beck says that after he aired a show on Antifa, FBI agents acting on the behest of Kash Patel came to get tips. Here's who the segment targeted, largely through strained connections and guilt by association: www.mediamatters.org/glenn-beck/g...
idk maybe we shouldn't have told a bunch of tech ghouls that they were world-shaking geniuses and didn't need to study pointless shit like civics and literature
I updated my mac and they were like "hey, you got an AI assistant!"

Within seconds I had that bitch shut off
Most interaction with technology nowdays is turning off bullshit features like this no one wants
Microsoft launches new Windows features to help weave AI into regular Windows 11 PCs, including rolling out a "Hey, Copilot!" wake word and Copilot Vision (Tom Warren/The Verge)

Just spitballing here, have you considered doing an article about something a normal person might give a shit about
Just so's we're all on the same page:

Republicans believe protesters have to be paid because they can't imagine any other reason to care about another person.
