every so often the admin staff are invited to the faculty members' Science Lunch Talks in which they take it in turns to talk about their work. obviously they have to dumb it down for us, and some are better at it than others. anyway I just learned more about aging than my brain could readily handle

It really sucks Newsom vetoed the HRT and PreP access bills. The stockpile veto is going to hurt.

That said, given everything he has been saying this year, signing 8 out of 10 bills is a win for grassroots activists and the legislators filing the bills.
