Correcting this: it is $28 billon in funds cancelled in blue states, not $18 billion. So 1.5 Milei bailouts. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/the-shutdo...

Trump has cancelled $18B of spending in blue states. He fired more than 4,000 federal employees the same day he sent $20B to Argentina. He is propping up the government of the guy on the left, while firing government officials working for the guy on the right. But those employees also work for us!

The secret power of a people’s movement is that it’s random.

It’s neighbors protecting immigrants from ICE. It’s millions canceling Disney+. It’s a man throwing a sandwich. It’s inflatable frogs dancing.

Dictators struggle to fight a movement, because they can’t do what they want most—control us.

SCOOP — Pennsylvania prosecutors were alerted to possible voting irregularities by one of MAGA's leading voices against voter fraud. A long paper trail shows Jack Posobiec has been living in Maryland but voting using his parents' PA address for years.

Kash Patel fired an FBI agent in training for displaying a gay pride flag on his desk while appointed to a field office in California last year. The trainee, who previously worked as an FBI support specialist in Los Angeles, received a letter claiming he had displayed an improper “political” message.

I’m still processing what happened this morning.

Is it now the administration’s position that the U.S. military does not observe or adhere to the laws of war?

The reason I mention it is this business that apparently happened over the weekend, while Trump was present at the Ryder Cup—a tourney where nations compete as teams—ensuring the American participants would lose & be (rightly) cursed by association with fan behavior emulating that of their MAGA hero

First time this guy has ever made me laugh
Comedian Tim Dillon said on his podcast last month that he signed up for financial reasons.
He said he had been offered "a large sum of money" - $375,000 for one performance - and said that other comedians had been offered as much as $1.6 million. He told his detractors to "get over it," adding, "So what if they have slaves, they're paying me enough to look the other way."
But in an episode of the Tim Dillon Podcast last week, the comedian announced he'd been removed from the lineup for the comments he made about the country's record on slavery.

Reminder that Miller once asked an admiral “When a boat full of migrants is in int’l waters, they aren’t protected by the U.S. Constitution, right?” When admiral said that’s technically true, but int’l law still applied, Miller replied: “why can’t we use a Predator drone to obliterate that boat?”

US soldiers opened fire on a group of mostly unarmed women children and elders in the Wounded Knee Massacre slaughtering over 300 Lakota civilians. Survivors witnessed troops chasing down children running away to butcher them.

Only a nazi regime would want to honor that
Pete Hegseth "Under my direction the soldiers who fought at the Battle of Wounded Knee will keep their medals. This decision is final. Their place in history is settled."
