Half-serious though... is there any kids' book/movie/etc. where the lesson involves the hero relinquishing power because it was acquired by politically bad means, e.g. heredity, power, etc. ? Feel like there must be but I can't think of it. Why don't republican values make good kid lit?

I was trying to convince my 11 year old that the fact that Simba didn't put a Lion Parliament in place shows that he's made the quintessential political science mistake of focusing on individual leaders and not mechanism. She was mostly getting her grandparents to buy toys.

The amazing thing is how Americans literally don't care if their government is working to overthrow other governments covertly.

If the US government is doing it, it must be just. We are the indispensable nation. We see farther.

Apropos of nothing, once the President of the United States confirms covert CIA operations in a country… say, Venezuela, those operations are no longer covert.

And it puts CIA officers at significantly more risk.

the feeding tube would bypass her stomach straight to her intestine so she doesn't throw anything up, and would also not keep her in the hospital like the IV nutrition does. Once she's on that tube and adjusted to it, thats a step toward her possibly being able to be home more in between treatments

They are going to go ahead and give Eva chemo treatment #10 today. Once she's past that and over most of the nausea from that treatment (in a day or two), they want to get her off of the IV nutrients and onto a feeding tube;
