There is no reason for KyoAni to have popped off as hard as they did with CITY
at least cricket, which has matches that stretch for several days, has the decency to schedule tea breaks
2025 is protein in everything and joy in nothing. There are no more little treats, there are only GAINS and MACROS and ozempic ads on Spotify and COFFEE THAT WILL DESTROY YOU IN THE PURSUIT OF SICK DELTS

a trans person when they misgender someone: oops sorry bud

a cis person when they misgender someone: I am so sorry. It was thoughtless and unwarranted and a mistake is no excuse. I have taken the time to reflect on my actions and will be more mindful. I will send you this apology every single time

ADHD tax is taking off your bracelet to make Thanksgiving dinner, cleaning the house, remembering a week later you're not wearing a bracelet, and having simply no idea where it could be. Another toll paid to the trinket goblin.

Come work with me! Xtra is bringing on five early-career BIPOC journalists for a paid editorial project on LGBTQ2S+ people and work. Applications are due later this month.
I know:
- mine
- my fiancee's
- my parents' landline
- my old mobile
- maybe my dad's mobile
- one friend from when I was 10
- OH EIGHT HUNDRED DOUBLE-OH TEN SIXTY SIX
The only phone numbers I know by heart anymore:

- mine
- my wife’s
- my landline number from when I first moved to LA
- my childhood home
- a Philadelphia community helpline that advertised on local TV with the jingle β€œCALL for ACT-ION! GREENwood SEVen five THREE one TWO!”
If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
A throughline with any famous pedophile or rapist you can think of is that people knew, and people talked about it, and nothing happened for YEARS -- time they spent amassing more victims.

How might things have been different if society hated teenage girls a little bit less? /end
The headline of his crimes was abuse of infants, but that obscures the huge amount of young teens he abused over a decade or more.

Police did nothing for years. How many more women and girls were harmed, because they did not believe the brave women and girls telling their stories?
I knew several teenage girls that he abused, many of whom were groomed to see his actions as a sign of love or favoritism and lashed out at anyone suggesting they were being harmed.

I knew several people who reported him to Crimestoppers and were ignored.
The paedophile ex-lead singer of Lostprophets has been killed in prison, after getting arrested in 2013.

People knew of parts of his terrible behaviour years earlier, but the police refused to investigate tips from predominantly women and teenage girls.
I went when I was 18 and loved it! The problem is I don't think there are enough tickets left for where I am in the queue given demand 🫠
I completely blanked on Ghibli Museum tickets being an absolute nightmare to buy. 90 seconds after ticket sales opened and i was number 36,000 in the queue like it's a Taylor Swift concert
Maybe go more dark fantasy than horror with something like Pan's Labyrinth, Gremlins, or Curse of the Were-Rabbit (though obv more funny than scary). Or one of the old Hammer horrors!
Worcestershire, Slough, Middlesborough, Portsmouth, Reading...
What’s the word where you’re from that, when pronounced exactly as it looks, identifies a tourist immediately?
