She was the minister in charge of social care at the moment early in the pandemic when the decision was taken to discharge untested Covid patients from hospitals into care facilities. Along with Hancock and Johnson, she should be in prison for manslaughter by gross negligence on an industrial scale.

I find @tomtugendhat.bsky.social's argument not just ludicrous, but dangerous. Due process is *absolutely* paramount in criminal law - not "whose side you are on".

We don't trample Separation of Powers just because you feel rightly angry and ashamed for being spied on *while Security Minister".
I remember when she was Minister for something or other and always appeared on TV interviews so completely out of her depth that she seemed on the verge of bursting into tears every time.
I had hoped to see less of her after the general election, but that was not to be!

Newsom: This president appears unhinged… seems listless… he seems, dare I say, in decline—cognitively, and… physically. These are just the rantings of someone who needs an intervention, needs some help, needs to be stabilized.
I think Americans should be very worried about these regular meetings with Putin. I don’t think they’re just talking about Ukraine.

If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go and kill them. Thank you for your attention in this matter?

Libraries in Reform UK run Staffordshire are being forced to close.

They are refusing to hire much needed staff and refusing over time or paying for staff to be covered. This is resulting in libraries closing because of too few staff, despite there being available staff to cover.

Updates from Gov. Newsom on Trump backing down from his plan to close the I-5 in California:
Newsom: We were under the understanding that we were going to close I-5 — up to 80,000 vehicles tomorrow and Saturday. They seemed to have backed off of that. They were going to move forward with a display, but they’re not clearly sharing that with state officials.

Oh no, they’re catching on!!!
That’s pretty much what I’m doing!
Terrifying for the rich and powerful, I suppose.
So much for ‘eternal peace’.

New figures from Shelter show that the number of children homeless or in temporary accommodation in England has reached its highest level since records began.

172,420 kids without a permanent home of their own- an 8% increase in a single year.
I suppose that the modern habit of equivalence in politics and media will mean that they’ll just point to Hillary’s ‘basket of deplorables’ in her presidential debate. I know it isn’t equivalent but it’s the way things seem to get reported these days.

Starmer: “Tomorrow, 12 noon”

Badenoch: “But when exactly?”

It's not a party though, it's a Limited Company.
Surely they should be prosecuted under the Bribery Act, and as a result Directors disqualified?

On Ada Lovelace Day, I spoke in Parliament to highlight the gap of women in STEM. We need more women in science, technology, engineering, and maths - not just for equality, but because diverse talent drives innovation.

It's time to break down barriers and inspire the next generation 👩🔬

Now this👇🏼is what I want to see from our Govt, not the cronyism, and Ministers complicit in dodgy dealings protecting their own as the Tories did..

Labour are a long way short of perfect, but we need to remember how badly the Tories abused power from illegal Covid parties to barefaced corruption❗️

What a surprise. Zelenskyy was set to meet with Trump on Friday , magically Putin and Trump have another “great progress” call today. Let me guess. Another meeting set. Trump teases tomahawks Friday. Then asked if he would approve, then he’ll push the decision two weeks , then pause again.
