No, I've actually been there in July. It does actually get warm.

Generally not hot, true, but you do see conditions where you wonder if anyone has air conditioning (an old window unit that may or may not work, but they technically have it).

One thing I can say, those grizzled fishermen, with the weathered skin, frazzled white beard, and that "yup, seen it all" look that sometimes gets depicted? Maine actually has those. First time I went, I saw one carrying a six-pack of longnecks to the docks.

Not with those terms, but an NPC can be overheard mentioning a rise in "drifters" at one spot (not out of the way, but also not a spot the players need to visit or an NPC that needs to be interacted with).

My cat Gonzo keeps attacking one of my Lego minifigs. On one hand, that's not your toy, stop going after it.

On the other, he's specifically attacking Lego Cruella DeVille, and he is a white cat with spots, so I can see why he might have a grudge.
