My old hometown of Schleswig's museum has a very random collection of samurai weaponry the Kaiser's brother brought from his several Japan visits from that time.

(Was a bit confusing for me as a kid since most of the museum is rather regionally focussed)

I love how historical firearm (and weapon in general) collections have a curatory filter that makes it more likely for weird outliers to be preserved

While im not much into it, I deeply respect smut artists who go out of their way to inform you their art shows frowned upon topics.

Yeah, I feel like all this "AI is super dangerous because soon it will be more intelligent than us!" alarmism just is marketing FOR THE PRODUCT.

The real danger is the upcoming damage to economy it will have when people finally must admit it's actually a very limited technology
