Skilled cold-avoider Gnash has stoked an impressive fire, by which he has settled himself on a few pillows, idle strums of his lute filling the chill autumn air with a pleasing series of improvised melodies.

Ares has been conditioned to not react. His heart might skip a beat, but he will only stare in response, body remaining still. It's almost like Ares' muscles tighten up just enough so he cannot move, but not too much he looks uncomfortable, so being startled hurts him a little.

Orya will be out in the forest, playing a song on her flute while standing against a tree, enjoying the view of the stars and the breeze. She likes to play before going to bed but goes out to the forest so she doesn’t disturb anyone else nearby

Gilnor and Halla are snuggled up together, either in a bedroll if camping or in a blanket in the garden if at her home. Gilnor is stargazing, pointing out constellations and such. Halla is mostly watching him, but will look when he points something out.

Veliss just doesn't register the chill. They are training for Auril's Day. It may be the first day of frosting soon and they want to keep a good pace in the race downhill to the west gate. Swimming in chilly waters is easy cake for them, but better not to trip in the way down

Gohma's not easy to spook, but in the rare instances that it happens, he does a whole body jerk as he's startled. His natural instinct is to swing with fist or blade, but after hitting several people and even cutting a fellow raider near-fatally, he got trained out of such reactions

Rook is sitting out in the new growth near Halsin's cottage in the formerly Shadowcursed Lands listening to the trees and connecting with Silvanus. Eventually Halsin comes out and brings Rook a cup of hot cider and coaxes him inside where they join Astarion. #tavqotd
