I'm not smart enough to know if this is a thing, but it seems like there must be a way to make it SEO friendly by using schema.org tags in the product listings, and then pulling form there.

What if the data in the quick view were stored in data tags in the html and the modal built itself on demand, but rather than pulling the data with an http call, it just grabs it from the data tags?

I like the idea of the footer option because it would "load" so quickly. I don't know how that would impact initial page load or SEO though.
