The closest I’ve gotten is I had friends who thought about setting me up with their pre-med friend. But, even though they thought me being not religious wasn’t *quite* a dealbreaker, me being not a Republican was. So, um, yeah.

I was listening to a podcast talk about NFL officiating and taking this angle, something like: “If you bet on a game and lose on a call like that, you’re going to want to know why you lost, and the NFL has to have better answers.” I could meditate on it for a year and never understand that mindset.
