I am respectfully asking people not to platform Joel Meadows / Tripwire magazine. He has made clear his support for Israel's actions, as well as his contempt for people who are appalled by Israel's actions in Gaza and beyond. I am hoping there are others in the comic community who feel the same way.

Today, Emmett Till would be 84. I wrote a little about him in my chapter in “Desegregating Comics”. A photo in the Chicago Defender showed the bed he and his cousin were in on the night Till was kidnapped. The sheets are rumpled and the foot of the bed is covered in comic books and newspapers. 1/5

There are comic books and newspapers - none specifically identifiable - scattered on the bed. It was from this bed that Emmett Till was kidnapped in August 1955 and then brutally murdered by white racists.
