I like to mix it up and sometimes I sigh AND give a shake of the head. Other times sigh and then scream into the abyss. You know. For fun.

Have you thrown in the occasional big sigh for variety?

I’m always tickled when ‘fairness’ is cited as a British ‘value’. Since when? I mean, the likes of Michelle Mone get the infamy, but it’s the less known people who lose a court case and owe money but then mysteriously their company Moonshine is bankrupt but ‘Moonshone’ is now up and running.

Had to give up on Channel4 because just so many adverts! Less than 10mins in and watched more than that in adverts.

This is a far too logical and considered take for online sports chat!
Where’s the outrage! Where’s the vitriol and hyperbole!

I really hope the answer was ‘no.’

'Oh, this looks like it could be an interesting acting job'

*applies*

(Gets a self tape request)

First sentence: We're using this to train AI-

The "cognitive decline and brain damage from repeat COVID infections" and "easy to use robot that makes slop and melts your critical thinking skills" is a hell of a combo in a post-fact media ecosystem

GenAI truly was the worst technology to come along at this moment.

An energy and water guzzler when we most urgently need to take climate action.

A disinformation machine as our journalism fails.

A bias machine as fascism takes root.

A job killer in a cost of living crisis.

That ‘Eminem as 50s soul’ video and the wedding cake dog, and the bear in the garden are like the gateway drug videos to mass manipulation.
“You know it’s AI?”
“So? It’s just a fun video.”

Cool. Doomed.

Trying not to think about the scale of AI videos and content they will be around for the next election.
Politicians won’t even go on campaign trail they’ll just get fake videos and most people won’t be able to tell.

World Mental Health Day seems like a good day to consider all options for a new job.

My side gig supply teaching just makes me too sad/depressed/angry.

Do they still have career advisors anywhere?

I can’t see my ever going back.
Maybe I could just pretend.

It’s my new life plan. Nothing ambitious.
Only attainable (and preferably tasty) goals.

I’ll have to ring around and check which takeaway uses them. But I feel like I need to be solving a crime/on a stake out/or turning up unannounced to someone’s house.

I’ve never eaten Chinese food from one of those takeaway cartons.

I might set this as a goal.

You know when you’re so fed up the only option seems to be a really big sigh?

No? Oh.

*SIGH*

I like how even on a busy day you can quickly find a route that soon means you feel alone and like Little John might come strolling by with a pheasant.

Almost didn’t see the pale stag standing so still amongst the bracken.
Bradgate Park is always a treat.
Pale stag standing still amongst bracken. Stag sitting down on grass with young deer gambolling about behind and seen through the antlers of the stag. View from a higher up on Bradgate Park, Leicestershire looking out across then park and towards the dirt from under a tree. Branches above at top of picture.

I think for my next creative project I need to work out a way to make it like a commissioned job so I meet a deadline.

I greatly admire people that have the habit of productivity/drive/work ethic.

Yeah. I’ll give it some thought whilst I stare at the pretty colours outside.
