"Write a theater-level war plan from the perspective of the United States to defend against a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. Draft operational orders to all subcommands of INDOPACOM covering the first week of hostilities."
Watching a video on this reporter who dated far right dudes for an article, and cracked up when she said in order to sus out how a guy REALLY feels politically, ask them one question:
Demonstrating once again that, by holding that partisan gerrymandering is a nonjusticiable “political question,” SCOTUS set up a situation in which voters and their representatives are essentially punished in Congress if they choose to run their own states fairly.
North Carolina Republicans announced today they’re going to pass a new congressional map to draw a Dem out of Congress; they already did last cycle, going from 7-7 to 10-4. Thus would be 11-3. t.co/XLJIhe8vZn
Believe it or not, it used to be taboo for a US president to go abroad and cozy up to dictators to trash domestic political opponents in a press conference. Pretty much never happened. Republicans would have demanded Obama be arrested for treason.
Trump on Egypt: "They have very little crime. Because they don't play games. That's why. Like we do in the United States with governors that have no idea what they're doing."
You can try to increase the viewership of your third-place and declining broadcast news division, or you can turn it into partisan opinion slop like cable except with no talent, but I am skeptical you can do both.
The first thing I would not have done if I were trying to save CBS News' ratings is keep the "Free Press" brand but apparently dual-label all its contributers as both Free Press and CBS News and thereby confuse everyone while also diluting CBS with a bunch of opinion bloggers.
CBS News would never put a thinly sourced 'story' by a rookie blogger like this on it's air. Until now. The Free Press isn't a journalism outlet, it's bloggers aren't reporters. This piece is more NYPost than Tiffany Network but I guess that's the goal.
