“Helped set the fire” I was there. I was happy to see it burn. We all were. On the ground, in that moment, I didn’t see any Hawaiian shirts or Jeep gladiators that the boogies were using. Of course they’d try to take credit for all the destruction.

We didn’t have ‘training’ or months out coordinated, permitted and organized protests with sign up sheets in 2020 over the murder of George Floyd.

All of this no kings stuff still feels incredibly fishy to me and everything we know about it the opposition knows about to. Loose lips sink ships.

We must push harder and make larger demands and holding the streets until those demands are met. If planned protests for a few hours drives them to assassinations, imagine what not backing down will look like! We are to that point. Saturdays protest need to not just be on Saturday afternoon.

I’d say it was a bit more than just a political murder, and yes, the planned assassination of politicians and non profit leaders that led to the shooting of two and their families and the murder of one disappeared the moment the Assassin was MAGA, until Charlie Kirk was murdered. And crickets since

Not discouraging anyone from protesting on Saturday, I believe every single US citizen should be in the streets already. Please do so Saturday and stay in the streets for as long as you can.

Use that first amendment right while we still have it.

We all must demand more and protest harder.

The biggest issue I have with ‘No Kings Day’ is the demands are just a return to democratic norms that led us into authoritarianism and not a restructuring of government.
What happened to ‘we’re not going back’, stronger demands and holding the streets until they are met?

No justice. No Streets.

Oh I assure you as both countries maybe be awful for indigenous peoples, you’ll never catch the United States calling any of them ‘first nations’ and I feel that’s an important distinction between the 2. Both countries have been shitty, at least Canada is trying, be it not enough, right now.

All training cost companies money and down time. The less training a company does the more money they save up front. Companies no longer invest in the work force. It’s literally how capitalism works. Most companies didn’t have dei programs until it was mandatory. DEI isn’t just a hiring practice.
