Beautiful morning on the trails with Opus yesterday. He's really enjoying his solo walks and I don't have the heart to tell him that 1) Hobbes is also gets a solo stroll just before he does and 2) Hobbes will be back on the trail walking crew on Friday or Saturday.
Opus, a black lab, sits on a grassy trail with his head turned towards the right looking just past the camera to the right. The sun is at his back and his orange and blue chuckit ball is about a foot in front of him. The sky is mostly clear and the background has a bunch of mixed trees most of which still have leaves on them A wood log fence post with barbed wire running to it's left and right and browned out weeds in front of it. Behind the fenceline is a browning corn field and a long ridgeline with trees in a variety of colors (red, orange, brownish, green and yellow). The sky is mostly cloudy Early morning sunrise hitting the line of trees where our woods starts. The weeds in the foreground are still shaded but the large oak tree on the right side of the picture and the treeline to it's left are bathed in sunlight. The trees are a mix of colors (red yellow, brownish and green). The sky is mostly cloudy with a small patch of blue in the upper left corner

Thank you, so far no pokes or poops from the vultures so I *think* I'm in the clear.

Thanks Alex, I probably should have saved some then. Maybe they'll take some leftover buffalo wings!

Thanks Melissa, I'm about 95% sure you're correct.

Thanks mac, got nervous for a bit but it was just Opus jamming his cuckit ball into the back of my knee.

Thanks Jen, was hoping the Brewers could've tied it up for my bday but hopefully they can turn around tomorrow.

Here's a sun washed Opus for you.
Opus, a black lab, sits on a grassy trail with his orange and blue chuck-it ball just in front of him. The morning sun is low in the sky and just the left side of Opus's noggin and is kind of washing him in sunlight but his mouth is open and his tongue is slightly out making it look like he's smiling. The background has a row of tall weeds and a mix of small hardwood trees and a pine tree.

Turkey vultures circling overhead on your birthday is obviously a good sign.
8 turkey vultures circling in a heavily clouded sky.

Damn Mary, I hate the news but I'm glad you're able to line up an oncologist. Please give Priya some scritches for me.
