Know that it isn’t you, it’s how bad the hiring process has become. Go to any design forum/mixer and you just hear the horrible stories similar to yours.

Add the number of people looking ( 2 years 4 me) and the current devaluation of what designers do, makes it just a painful slog of a job search.
