Chaucer is incredibly entertaining. And it would be great for an English class that wanted to dip into the history of English, and why it works the way it does (instead of simply saying “English is so weird and hard, amiright!”) But I’m assuming state testing doesn’t allow time for cool stuff.

Increasingly envious of other countries’ politics. Lots of bad things, of course, but there’s something nice and quaint about their politicians mainly just being Some Person instead of a National Celebrity Made of Shit. Why do I even know who the congress members from Georgia are?
