Hello, I'm Caine and I like to draw monster people, evil scientists, and occasionally fanart of the things I enjoy! I also do pixel art, and am currently working on original projects 🌠

Watching Knights of Guinevere and I can't even remember the last time I was so instantly hooked on a story AND I keep pausing all the time because there are so many cool details that are both visually interesting and provide, like, more information about the setting

Cautiously optimistic about NaNo 2.0 which I learned about today. There is a part of me that sort of wants to stay away from mentioning nano/nanowrimo because of what happened with the website/organisation but at the same time I kind of want to see it redeemed in a new iteration

Celebrating hitting 21k words in #fishhook despite the first draft always getting the heaviest edits and deletes afterwards. I'm halfway through chapter 3 and if I work hard this week I should be able to finish it. Finishing the rest of chapter 4 too might be a little too ambitious of me though

The kind of positive comments Sandfall is getting for Clair Obscur are so positively enviable from a creator POV because to me the highest compliment my art could receive is people telling me it touched them or felt personal or it inspired them to start creating their own stuff

Going to hit 20k words in the full script soon but it doesn't really say much because script word count just... isn't the same as it is in a traditional prose novel. It counts character names and all
