a zine can be anything
Reminder, having the mood on this sign 🐉🤍
It's very cold, especially overnight! If you find yourself with any extra fall or winter clothes or blankets, please consider bringing them to any of our drop-off locations! ❤️
And this temp drop won't stop: the low tomorrow night is supposed to be 37°... the low was 71° just last week.

If you are in the Twin Cities & have extra blankets and cold weather clothing, consider donating to @supplydepotmpls.bsky.social - our unhoused neighbors could probably use warm things!
To support Boneshaker's big move, follow their link for financial donations and also divert any donations intended for us and bring them to any of our other drop spots!

The rumors are true: Boneshaker is headed to a new location! We need your help to dig up our bones and move on over to 26th and Lyndale. We're hoping to raise $15,000 total, $6k of that by 10/17. Learn more at bit.ly/boneshakermove and thank you for helping Boneshaker thrive!
Boneshaker Books is moving! Why move? While we love a lot about our current location, we’ve struggled with dwindling foot traffic, low sales, and expensive maintenance issues.

We believe our new space will offer resources that will allow us to exist more sustainably as a community organization for the long haul. How can I help? Our goal is to raise $15,000 total to fund the move, make some improvements to the new space, and build out our inventory.

Ultimately, we need at least $6,000 by October 17th so we can reopen in our new space at 708 W 26th St. by around November 1st. Donate and find out more about the move (and the cool perks you can get for donating!) via the QR code or URL below.
Thank you for helping Boneshaker thrive!

I once again don't have evidence, but I feel very good about calling donations like this a positive addition to our regular harm reduction supplies!!!

This is about 2 pop-ups worth of supplies, our Wednesday crew finds people and brings them drink, snacks, and sandwiches, usually paired with a harm reduction group for safer use supplies. Our Sunday crew sets up at the same spot that people know they can find- many ways to keep people safe & loved!

We are no longer in a state of direct and emergent needs, if you want to donate anything we normally use we can accept it at Arbeiter Brewing, b. Resale, Boneshaker Books, Duck Duck Coffee, and Modist Brewing!

Consider what you may be able to get ready for cooler weather while we're working with these warmer temps a bit longer & buying some time in that regard.

Familiarize yourself with these drop locations & whether they're close to work/home/extracurriculars.

Look into the stuff normally needed.

If you're in the Twin Cities and not sure where/how to start, here are a few ideas. This is all focused on ACTING: going places and doing things

- volunteer with @supplydepotmpls.bsky.social in distributing supplies to unhoused people
Perpetually relevant - ESPECIALLY: ask the residents what they want and need, and don't promise things you can't do!

Done 🫡

(This is for @supplydepotmpls.bsky.social — join me and Willy in donating!!!)
I'm in for $50. Match me, y'all
We have our big weekly event tomorrow where people come get showers, hot food, groceries, harm reduction, clothes, camping supplies, and consult with resource navigators - who can help get some extra snacks for people who have been too traumatized this week?
