We had a great response to our call with @stratforddc.bsky.social to bring e-waste to the Climate Hub. This was all collected this morning, so if you still have small items old tech to recycle please put them in a carrier back on top of, or by the side of, your bins on your normal collection day.
We’re sharing people’s stories about using the local buses, to campaign for better services. Send us yours or send them to your councillors using the hashtag #bustrated #buses

We need an integrated transport system. Will council-run bus franchises work in rural areas? If not, we need to look at nationalisation.

Embracing e-waste recycling could lead to a future where tech is continuously repurposed, minimizing landfill impact and promoting sustainability. Let's make it the norm! #futurism

Working in partnership with @stratforddc.bsky.social and Biffa .
Why don’t people use buses more? It’s a rural area (and Stratford’s good for walking). But what are the solutions?

Some of the people we hear from would like to use buses more but don’t. When you have to use them, the frustration is much more intense.

The give-and-take stall at the #RepairCafe in the Methodist church hall is a book exchange this month. Drop off your books and/or pick something to read on a wet Autumn evening!
Thanks to Chris and Alistair of The Butterfly Garden for showing us round their recycling facilities. We were very impressed by the huge number of videotapes recycled, and by all the other activities on offer (music, gardening, cooking, acting!)
