But most of what keeps me interested is the story and the way information is given to you. New Game+ has been real fun. I definitely wish the scanning was a little better at showing you the stuff it pings and that there was more to find but thats my Dark Souls brain wanting loot everywhere.

I definitely formed my previous opinion fully based on my frustrations (and lack of sleep) but I've been patient and I take breaks and it helps. Its funny how you really think the game wants you to be BOOSTING FLYING DASHING ZOOM ZIP and most solutions to fights are "hey jump"

ac6 ng+ is very satisfying because while there are bits where the difficulty gets ramped up to meet you, for the most part you're still mowing down dudes with your superior parts and it feels real good to tear through Balteus and Sea Spider

either that or Assassins Creed 3 which I dissociated part way through because it was so boring. Colonial America is not an interesting setting following Renaissance Italy. Also it really sucked knowing how Connor's struggle was going to end up the entire time.

Kingdom Hearts 3 hollowed me out to the point that I didnt even bother with the DLC.

I loved the series so much and I knew it was headed for a fall because Nomura cant fucking write but 3 was so much worse than I had expected to the point it actively harmed my enjoyment of the rest of the series.
