I was sent this screenshot from a player I used to coach. She was stuck in A+, used to tilt super hard, and would always rush in solo. It took about 6 months of coaching, and now she is doing better than ever. It’s not about the player when they start, it’s about where they can be when it’s over.

It’s not like people aren’t interested in high level teams, there’s just so little presence outside of results. If you have a presence, people will begin to notice. The wider range your presence is (the more platforms you use) the easier it is to be seen.

I mean, we (Stronghold) have a project in the works that talks a bit about it. But overall if teams just made a social media account and posted stuff. Go on podcasts like Popcast, Splat Chat, Cactus Patch, etc. As well as upload content to platforms. I’m sure they would see a spike in popularity.
